SPC is also accepting items for [...]]]> Last Year’s fund raiser was such a success that we’re doing it again. There will be a silent auction, followed by a live auction for the items with the most bids. There will also be a Bowl Buy, and once you’ve bought the bowl you can fill it with yummy goodness.

SPC is also accepting items for the auction and yummy things for the bowls (your best chili, soup, goulash, etc.)

We will also conduct the drawing for the Emerald Goddess. She’s 9 inches tall and carved out of Emeralds in a black stone matrix. The retail value $2000, but raffle tickets are just $10.

Plus, there will be live entertainment, henna and face-painting and so much more!

Commercial honeybee operations pollinate crops that make up one out of every three bites of food on our tables.

Vanishing of the Bees follows commercial beekeepers David Hackenberg and Dave Mendes as they strive to keep their bees healthy and fulfill pollination contracts across the U.S. The film explores the struggles they face as the two friends plead their case on Capital Hill and travel across the Pacific Ocean in the quest to protect their honeybees.

Filming across the US, in Europe, Australia and Asia, this documentary examines the alarming disappearance of honeybees and the greater meaning it holds about the relationship between mankind and mother earth. As scientists puzzle over the cause, organic beekeepers indicate alternative reasons for this tragic loss. Conflicting options abound and after years of research, a definitive answer has not been found to this harrowing mystery.”

Improv mythic theater right [...]]]> We are so delighted to let you know that Sacred Paths Center will be a stop on the Fringe Festival circuit this year. We are hosting “The Quest” an improvisational mythic journey based on Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey.
